33% higher risk.

below 44 years of age
and taking acid reflux pills only occasionally were not at risk.
Previous studies have shown

more research is needed to confirm the possible link.

and drink ginger tea to reduce acid production.
Drink a cup of
chamomile tea
before bed to help you sleep through the night without heartburn.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol
as that can irritate the stomach lining and worsen acid reflux symptoms.

that can help to reduce acid reflux: Eat smaller, more frequent meals,
Do not lie down after eating, Use a wedge pillow while sleeping, lose weight, quit smoking and manage stress.
